Yr 6 Religious Education Visit Thursday 29th November 2018

On Thursday 29th November, The Netherlands class had the opportunity to learn more about religious symbols and how people worship during a visit to Gosberton Church. Alongside this, Reverend Walters took us on a journey back in time by sharing the fascinating local history of our village. We were amazed to discover that the church has been in Gosberton for 1000 years, including during the civil war (when it was believed that Oliver Cromwell’s army destroyed the windows and brass detail).

Following the visit, we have been inspired to create our own leaflets in order to promote the local building and share our knowledge.
