Children In Need Friday 16th November 2018
On Friday, Gosberton Academy took part in some fundraising for Children in Need. We held a ‘Pyjama Day’ and the children made contributions of 50p. There were some fantastic efforts with different types of pyjamas and even some Pudsey Bear dressing gowns.
The Academy were able to raise over £100 and that was thanks to a wonderful idea from our Pupil Parliament – they decided to see which class could raise the most money by forming a line of 1 and 2 pence coins.
The winning class was Morocco who managed to fill four widths of the school hall with their coins.
A huge thank you to everybody who supported the events and to the Pupil Parliament for coming up with some new exciting ideas.
